It was a life changer for lakhs of people due to its nutritious values, can be stored for long term, value for money with taste, etc.

So today we are discussing the recipe of the delicious Chicken biryani, let's get started :-

*All the measurements are taken according to 350 grams of rice.

First collect some stuffs :-

  • A Broiler cut into pieces

  • Edible oil for frying

  • 200gms coriander leaves finely chopped

  • 1 tablespoon coriander seeds

  • ½ tablespoon garam masala

  • Chilly powder 2 tablespoon

  • ½ turmeric powder

  • Ginger garlic paste 1 tablespoon

  • Sliced chopped onion ½ kg

  • 250 gms yogurt

  • 3 tablespoon edible salt

  • Long grained basmati rice 350 gms

  • Water

  • Dough for sealing the pan

Take a pan in which you are going to cook. Heat the pan, put enough oil in it and put onion in it, fry it properly till the onion gets golden color. Take out that into another bowl.

Wash the chicken properly. Take a bowl, put turmeric, ginger garlic paste, dhania, chili powder, garam masala, salt and yogurt, put chicken pieces into it and mix it well. Keep that mixture for at least 3 hrs.

On the other side Boil water and add salt, when water gets bubbling then add rice into it and boil the rice till it gets 90% cooked. When it gets ready then take it out and keep aside.

Take a heavy base pan and put 5 tablespoons of oil, heat it and take half pieces, make a layer of chicken pieces into it. Put half rice over it, put some onion layer,  and again repeat the same layers and at last put a coriander leaves layer.Cover it with a pan cover. Put some oil on the edges of the pan so that dough should not get sticked and get easily out. For 7 to 8 minutes place the pan in a high temperature and after that lower the temperature to moderate, cook for 45 minutes.

After that, break the seal, mix it well and serve it.
