Paneer biryani recipe

 Paneer Biryani Recipe :- 


When a vegetarian and a paneer lover go for an outing then paneer dishes are common and if they are on lunch or dinner then paneer biryani with gravy or curd and salad will be considered most of the times.





We are talking about Paneer biryani here which is cooked in “Dum biryani” style and a perfect recipe for mainly vegetarians. So now let's get started :- 

  1. 25 gm mint and 25 gm coriander finely chopped.

  2. 3 sliced onions, 1 tablespoon ginger (chopped), 1 tablespoon ginger garlic paste.

  3. 1 tablespoon cream, 1 tablespoon butter, 2 cups ghee, tomato paste.

  4. 1 tablespoon sugar and white salt, 2 green chillies, 5 cloves, black pepper powder, cinnamon, cloves. Cardamom, green cardamom, black peppercorn, mace .

  5. ½ tablespoon cardamom powder, 1 tablespoon tandoori masala, ½ tablespoon cumin powder, ½ tablespoon coriander powder.

  6. 200 gms paneer cubes, 10 almonds, 10 cashews, 5 cups 75%cooked rice.




#  Take a pan and fry the paneer cubes in ghee, take it out and put some salt, black pepper powder, red chili powder according to taste and keep it aside.


#  Little bit of ghee (almost dry)  in a pan and put cinnamon, cloves, mace, black peppercorn, black and green cardamom and fry them a little. After 2-3 mins, add ginger garlic paste, green chili chopped, and chopped onion, fry it for 2 mins. And the 


#  On the other side take a cup of sliced onion and fry it till it gets golden brown color.


#   Put a little tomato paste in gravy with cream and a little bit of butter and fry it, after 2 mins put cardamom powder, cumin powder, little tandoori masala and coriander powder in it. 


#  Put cashew and almond in gravy and season according to taste. Add paneer cubes into the gravy and mix it firmly for 5 to 6 mins. 


#  Take handi or any big pan which is greased with ghee and make a layer of rice than paneer cubes with gravy turn by turn, put golden yellow onion and chopped mint and coriander on the top and according to choice you can put nuts also, seal it with aluminum foil and cook it in gentle heat for 20 mins. 


#  Take it out and serve hot with curd or raita with salad.
